Aberdeen – after the screening
On the 1st of December one of the lecture theatres at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen filled with sociology enthusiasts to watch “The Trouble with Being Human These Days”. The screening gathered over 40 students and lecturers from both Robert Gordon University and University of Aberdeen. The president of Social Sciences Society Krzysztof Adamczyk hosted the event. After the screening of the film, a discussion was lead by Dr. Donncha Marron and Dr. Christopher Thorpe with contributions by members of the audience including students as well as Dr. Peter McLaverty and Professor Stephen Vertigans – Head of School of Applied Social Sciences. Overall, the screening was very successful; audience enjoyed the film which provoked a lively discussion afterwards.
